Adventures in Fine Art: Writers and Painters in Collaboration

Today is the first day of the Chester County Studio Tour which celebrates 165 different artists in 68 studios.

Gayle Hendricks, Parisian Phoenix art director, and myself, Angel Ackerman, publisher, joined Heather Pasqualino Weirich of Heather Pasqualino Fine Art at her studio on magnificent Valley Forge Mountain.

Heather allowed us to use her painting on the cover of Not an Able-Bodied White Man with Money. And all creatives, in all art forms need to support each other and cross-pollinate.

And I had the pleasure of posing with Heather in front of the original painting.

We made enough money to pay for our gas, saw some great art and Gayle even got to have a glass of wine. And it was exciting to see Heather’s visitors examine the painting and then compare it to the cover.

And even in the rain, how can you not love this setting?

For more info on the studio tour, see our May newsletter here. And feel free to sign up, we only send one per month.

If you’re free tomorrow, check it out.
