Launching Summer Reading

Published by

on

On June 14, starting at 11 a.m., Ralph and Joe and I will be at the Mary Meuser Memorial Library Summer Reading Kick Off “Wheels Around Wilson” at Meuser Park, 2240 Northampton Street, Easton, Pa., 18042. The free event will feature vehicles from the borough’s emergency departments and public works for the kids to explore and a new non-profit hosting a vision van for first-come, first-serve eye exams.

Ralph and Joe will be singing songs about things that go with the kids, while I’ll probably be coloring with the kids— as everyone knows I’m tone deaf. (Except I learned from my musician daughter last night I sing, “Ha-ha-Ha-ha-HA” in a perfect scale.)

We’ll be there to promote our next cooperative Echo City Capers Jr. release, a special hardcover “triple threat,” a compilation of Too Many Bunnies, Unfortunate Cookies, and U Be U that we call Bunnies, Cookies and a Robot! This unique compilation features a fresh new cover by the ever-talented Joe Swarctz and will feature add-ons not included in the original books.

This will be the first time these particular stories have been available outside of the Lehigh Valley here in the United States. Too Many Bunnies and U Be U are printed individually in the United Kingdom by Purple Unicorn Media/Dancing Unicorn UK.
