Next weekend, creator Joseph Swarctz and writer Ralph Greco Jr. will launch their tour to five Lehigh Valley bookstores

This coming Saturday morning, our own boldly-adorned crusaders, Joe and Ralph, the duo behind Echo City Capers, who I have not seen in capes are scheduled to appear on Channel 69’s weekend edition broadcast at 8:15 a.m. They will sit with newscasters to promote their visit later that day (Sept. 23, 4:30 to 6 p.m.) to The End: A Bookstore in West Allentown.

The duo will have three special hardcover books for fans— Sometimes I Get… A Book About Feelings, The Echo City Capers Jr. Christmas Special, and Bunnies, Cookies and A Robot!

This next Saturday morning interview at WFMZ starts a meet-and-greet day for the Echo City men, as later the same day, Joe and Ralph are appearing at The End A Bookstore, also in Allentown, between 4:30-and 6 pm. Ralph & Joe will be talking about and showing off their latest Echo City hardcover editions, published by Parisian Phoenix Kittens, singing books and possibly surprising whomever shows up with even more of their talents. Among the latest books that they will have on hand (and again, signing for anyone who buys one), the boys will have their new hardcover/landscape edition of the Echo City Jr. Christmas Special . Yes, it’s a few weeks even before Halloween, but before you know it, the crazy holidaze will be here; maybe, it’s a good idea to get some shopping for them done early.

If you can’t see them Saturday, you can find them at various events throughout the Lehigh Valley and Warren County, N.J., and at the following bookstores:

  • October 14: Moravian Bookstore, Bethlehem
  • October 21: Easton Book Festival at Easton Area Public Library
  • October 22: Easton Book Festival at Book & Puppet Company, Easton; also Barnes and Noble, Southmount Shopping Center, Bethlehem
  • November 18: Barnes & Noble, Promenade Shops, Center Valley
