It’s been a few days of minor excitement. Projects for new clients are coming together– a journalist friend looking for help launching a socially-conscious web news magazine, Dr. Steven Hymovitch’s upcoming The Emotionally Intelligent Dental Office has reemerged on my schedule for a block tomorrow, a ghostwriting true crime project that I can’t say much about because what’s the point of being a ghostwriter if you can’t keep a secret, mentoring a poet who’s been writing forever but recently came out of the literary closet and tackling my own projects via NaNoWrimo.
I have written 3,999 words in the last 48 hours, bringing my first draft of my fifth Fashion and Fiends novel, Absolution, to close to 10,000 words and at Chapter Five.

I have a special guest editor at my feet, Her Ladyship Sobaka. Her companion had a surprise birthday outing to State College. So, my smartypants little Maltese-Yorkie is at least helping me achieve some daily steps.
To end the day, I joined the poet mentioned above, Darrell Parry, Eva Parry, and some others for Starbucks coffee in the comfort of the local chain bookstore.
Once a week, the Barnes & Noble in the Southmont Shopping Center (Bethlehem Township, Pa.) hosts The Noble Quills Poetry Showcase, which is also how Twists: Gathered Ephemera ended up part of the inventory in the store.
