EXCITING NEWS: We finally signed a contract with Edward Jacobs for his debut novel that we hope to release before the presidential election in November. I guess it’s a political thriller, exploring race relations and what happens if movements grow too extreme… More on that as we move deeper into production, but we did want to welcome Edward to the family.

On Saturday, June 15, Parisian Phoenix will be at the Palmer Park Mall to support Blue Flame Events’ Dad Fest. This event features a CAR SHOW (entry fee $10 day of event, trophies awarded.) In addition to our merchandise always on hand in the Blue Flame Events Retail Store, we will be tabling in the mall with more of our books and will special signed copies of Larry Sceurman’s books, The Death of Big Butch and Coffee in the Morning.

These particular volumes are nostalgic historical fiction focused on the second-half of the twentieth century. Themes of family, friendship and community fill Larry’s books.

On Friday, June 21, McKenna Graf’s sophomore poetry volume mortals, myths & maybes will be live! Preorders have already begun and we can’t wait to see where McKenna goes with and after this book.

In July, we will have at least two releases:

  • Julian Costa’s biography of Hamilton Lee, The Audiovisual Teacher
  • Seneca Blue’s second edition of the romantic comedy, Trapped. Expect to see the cover of that exciting rerelease soon!

And speaking of July, on July 20, Parisian Phoenix will be at the Barnes and Noble in the Southmont Shopping Center in Bethlehem Township, Pa. It should be an exciting day in store as they already have all of The Fashion and Fiends horror series, Darrell Parry’s poetry collection Twists: Gathered Ephemeraand Thurston Gill’s The Phulasso Devotional in stock in the store.

Our Echo City Capers children’s books will also be there. AND the new edition of Seneca Blue’s novel.

As we cruise into “high summer mode,” I have just confirmed my hotel reservation for Sex Down South: Atlanta where I will be giving a workshop on writing-your-own erotica and promoting our erotic anthology Juicy Bits. If you care to join me, my registration discount code is ANGEL. Click here to learn more.

So stay tuned… because Lord knows… nobody knows what will happen around here next!
