- Starting at the end of the summer, the staff at Parisian Phoenix in partnership with Blue Flame Events will host a Book Lovers Group in the Blue Flame Events Retail Store in Easton’s Palmer Park Mall twice a month on Wednesday evenings. Please look for more detail about this.We hope to welcome readers, writers, poets, everyone to talk about whatever is important to you. Do you want to have a book club? Do you want to talk about how to get a book published? Do you want to improve your writing skills for business? Do you want to participate in an open mic or critique group? Let me know.
- Tomorrow I will be leading a very basic workshop on memoir at the Easton Area Public Library sponsored by the library and the Arts Community of Easton. The workshop is limited to ten participants and there is already a wait-list but I am doing another workshop at the library on Tuesday, July 30 at 6:30 p.m. on writing clear non-fiction. More information on these and other library programs are available here.
Our other upcoming events include Joseph Swarctz at the newly-reopened Barnes & Noble at the Lehigh Valley Mall, McKenna Graf speaking at her local public library at 12:30 p.m. on August 10 (Bernards Township Library, click here to register), and in September I will be attending Sex Down South in Atlanta where I will be hosting a write-your-own erotica workshop.
Later in September, I will be giving a presentation September 28 on starting a Substack for the Greater Lehigh Valley Writers Group. Their non-member workshop fee is only $15 so it’s worth considering.
Echo City Capers should be at the Barnes & Noble in Bethlehem Township at least once a month.
