Come September, I will be heading on the road trip of a lifetime. First I intend to visit my dear friend and traveling companion, M, at his home in Washington, D.C. I love visiting D.C., but even more than visiting the city itself, I love hanging out in M’s kitchen eating harissa, hummus and pita or on his couch drinking coffee—so much coffee.
On Tuesday, September 3, I am meeting a book sales professional considering building his own freelance business working with small publishers. We’ve already had a zoom meeting so this should be exciting. Plus, brunch.
Sex Down South
From there, I hope to drive almost out of North Carolina and find someplace to stay for the night. And on Wednesday, I will finish the drive to Atlanta for Sex Down South. I will lead a workshop on exploring your fantasies and writing your own erotic fiction on Thursday, September 5 at 4 p.m. I will be promoting our anthology Juicy Bits as a textbook of sorts for the “class.”
