Upcoming events:
September 14: Angel Ackerman promoting the Fashion and Fiends series at Mall Rats, the punk vendor fair celebrating the 1990s, hosted by Blue Flame Events at the Palmer Park Mall, Easton, 11 a.m. to 4 p.m.
Did you know?
Adelaide Pitney, the supermodel in the horror/dark romance novel Manipulations, was born in 1978? The story takes place in 2002, and I never moved the time because Adelaide entered modeling in the days of Cindy Crawford. She lost prestige as a model because Kate Moss and her “heroin chic” became popular. So, Adelaide suffers from confidence issues and spends most of the novel trying to convince people she’s not the girl in the pictures.
September 14: Echo City Capers at Barnes & Noble the Promenade Shops in Center Valley, 11 a.m. to 4 p.m.
September 15: McKenna Graf signing her poetry book Mortals, Myths & Maybes at Barnes & Noble in the Southmont Shopping Center, 1-4 p.m.
September 21: Echo City Capers have an appearance scheduled at Barnes & Noble in the Southmont Shopping Center, 11 a.m.-3 p.m. Their new title will be available, although I don’t know if it will be in store. Their Christmas book is, though!
September 22: Larry Sceurman will be promoting his nostalgic fiction, novella The Death of Big Butch and short story collection Coffee in the Morning, Barnes & Noble in the Southmont Shopping Center, 1-4 p.m.

September 25: Angel Ackerman will host the Read to Write Workshop group at the Blue Flame Events Retail Store at the Palmer Park Mall, 6 to 8 p.m. This group will explore whatever literary interests attendees have. Want to start a book club? Have writing questions? Hoping to share your own work at an open mic? Stop by and help build this organic writing- and reading-themed group.
September 28: Newsletters for Authors and workshop on Using Substack, Angel Ackerman presenting to Greater Lehigh Valley Writers Group. 11 a.m. and 1:30 p.m. Morning lecture free, afternoon workshop free for members, $15 for non-members.
