I recently heard from Wayne Sherrer, the author of Phorgotten No More, his book on the African-American History of Phillipsburg, N.J. Wayne did incredible research into primary source materials and released the book last year.

Buy Wayne’s book

I thought maybe he had completed his notes on the larger history book on Phillipsburg, N.J., that he’s had in the works but it was actually something much better.

He was featured on a recent broadcast of our local television news, WFMZ Channel 69. And they did a really admirable time talking not only about Wayne’s book, but also highlighting some of the town’s African-American history.
