Approximately every other week, at 7 a.m. on a Monday morning, I meet with Laurel Olsen Wenson at our favorite Panera Bread (where we are both now members of The Sip Club). We drink iced coffee and for about three hours, we write.
This week, I realized something. Sometimes what makes something special is the anticipation of it. Laurel and I have occasionally considered meeting every week, but we fear that then it would become a chore, and not something to cherish and crave.
When Imposter Syndrome hits the hardest, it means you must be doing something right.

Regardless of whether you are here because you are a reader or a writer, or just stumbled in, we all have to give ourselves grace and permission to grow. Sometimes this means we need to gather friends and share common interests. Sometimes this means stepping off the ledge and having faith that our ideas will flourish.
