Chili Fest and Easton Book Festival This Weekend

This weekend Parisian Phoenix authors will be very busy! Several are attending events at Easton Book Festival, several are at Southside Bethlehem’s Chili Fest and we have authors hosting signings at Barnes & Noble.

  • October 13-19: Easton Book Festival, downtown Easton, Pa. Look for Angel Ackerman, Darrell Parry, Dianna Sinovic and Hugo Yelagin at various events.
    • October 18, 9 a.m. to 1 p.m.: Look for Angel Ackerman and Hugo Yelagin at the book tent at the Easton Farmer’s Market.
    • Throughout the weekend, find Dianna Sinovic, McKenna Graf and Angel Ackerman at various panels and readings.
    • October 19, Noon to 4 p.m.: Various authors at the Small Press Expo. Come find your favorite Parisian Phoenix books! In the Sigal Museum on Northampton Street in downtown Easton. Maryann Riker from Justarip Press will be there as well.
  • October 18: Echo City Capers at the Barnes & Noble in the Promenade Shops, Center Valley, Pa.
  • October 18: Noon to 4 p.m., Parisian Phoenix authors at Chili Fest, part of the Southside Arts District and Made in the Lehigh Valley. The ticketed event encompasses a variety of business in Bethlehem’s (Pa.) Southside. For more information, click here. Local restaurants compete for a coveted handmade chili award. Where will the authors be?

  • October 18: Parisian Phoenix contributor William Prystauk releases his vampire novel, Red Agenda (edited by Angel Ackerman), 2 to 5 p.m. at the downstairs speakeasy “The Hideaway” at Newberry’s Yard of Ale, 622 Main Street, Stroudsburg, Pa. Purchase a signed copy and a drink at the bar.
  • October 19: Greater Lehigh Valley Writers Group Paranormal Panel as part of the Easton Book Festival, 2:15 p.m., featuring Angel Ackerman, Phil Giunta, Joanne McLaughlin, and Dianna Sinovic. Also in the Sigal Museum on Northampton Street in downtown Easton. Dianna will also be on the Dark & Stormy Nights game show-style book panel and the science fiction panel.
  • October 26: Blood in the Stacks, horror author event at the Barnes & Noble in the Southmount Shopping Center in Bethlehem Township, Pa. Dianna Sinovic and her novel Scream of the Silent Sun will be on-site as a featured author 2 to 6 p.m.

  • November 8: Geraldine Donaher and Dianna Sinovic at Bucks County Library Author Fair, 10:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. at The Doylestown Library, 150 S. Pine Street, Doylestown, Pa.
  • November 13: McKenna Graf reading from her full-length poetry book, The Depths, the third in her Archive of Adolescence series, at Book and Puppet Company in downtown Easton, Pa.
  • November 16: Echo City Capers at the Barnes & Noble in the Promenade Shops, Center Valley, Pa.
  • November 22: Echo City Capers at Vorhees High School Winter Festival, 9 a.m to 3 p.m., Glen Gardner, N.J.
  • November 22Dianna Sinovic will be at the Bally Holiday Craft Fair, 9 a.m. to 3 p.m., Bally Mennonite ChurchBarto, Pa.
  • November 23: Dianna Sinovic at the Barnes & Noble at the Promenade Shops in Center Valley, Pa., noon to 3 p.m.
