- Official launch of The Night of Swaying Grass, a memoir of 62 poems by R. Diskin Black. From losing his father to cancer as a young child to life in the East Village of New York City in the 1980s, Black’s poignant poems address issues that resonate across generations.
- March 6: Angel Ackerman visits Avona Elementary to share Bookworm’s Magical Journey and teach how a book gets made.
- March 7: 11 a.m. storytime with Echo City Capers at Barnes and Noble, Southmont Shopping Center, Bethlehem Township, Pa.
- March 9: Publishing panel with Alumni from Lafayette College, a Zoom-based event featuring Angel Ackerman. Details to come.
- March 12: McKenna Graf reading as part of Noble Quills poetry at Book & Puppet Company in downtown Easton (Pa.).
- March 14: Joan Zachary shooting author headshots as part of the Greater Lehigh Valley Writers Group The Write Stuff conference in Center Valley, Pa. Joan provides author photos as an add-on to registrants of the writers’ conference. See GLVWG.org for details.
- March 14: Parisian Phoenix Publishing celebrates Étienne d’Amille’s birthday at the book fair of the Greater Lehigh Valley Writers Group Write Stuff Conference. Étienne is one of the main characters in the Fashion and Fiends series.
- March 17: Third writing drop-in at Mary Meuser Memorial Library, 1803 Northampton Street, Easton, Pa. 4 to 7 p.m. in the annex. This month we may have a tour of the library at 4 p.m., followed by a short craft discussion, and then writing time from 5 to 6:30 p.m. with an open mic from 6:30 to 7 p.m. for those who wish to share. Come for the whole time or come for a portion of it… All are welcome. We are hoping to convert to a second and fourth Tuesday drop-in for the month of April.

- Second chapbook in the Stark Ravine Mad series, Mszkoze, Red She Is by Kathryn Dohrmann, releases.
- April 4: Joseph Swarctz and Ralph Greco Jr of Echo City Capers return to Barnes and Noble in their hometown of Clifton, N.J.
- April 13: Poetry reading at Lake Forest College (Lake Forest, Ill.) with Kathryn Dohrmann, details to come.
- April 14: Writing drop-in at Mary Meuser Memorial Library, 1803 Northampton Street, Easton, Pa. 4 to 7 p.m. in the annex. - April 17: Echo City Capers at Easton Arts Academy
- April 19: An afternoon poetry reading at2 p.m. at Village Works, a small independent bookstore in Manhattan’s East Village.
- April 23: at noon in the Lake Forest College Library, an event featuring Mark Luebbers and Benjamin Goluboff who publish speculative biographical poetry. They published Group Portrait with Parisian Phoenix about the art salon of Peggy Guggenheim.

- April 23: Mark your calendar for Larry and Friends, a special storytelling event featuring Larry Sceurman at Bethlehem’s Icehouse on Sand Island. The event will begin at 7 p.m. and features Nancy Scott and members of Patchwork Storytelling Guild.
- April 25: R. Diskin Black speaks with Greater Lehigh Valley Writers Group on on the intersection of poetry and memoir, morning program at 11 a.m. In the afternoon session (1:30 to 3 p.m.), participants will delve deeper into the morning’s topic, ask questions, and complete a brief exercise, and share that piece of writing if they desire. Morning lecture free, afternoon workshop free to GLVWG members, $15 for non-members. For more information, visit GLVWG.org. - FIFTY BOOKS IN FIVE YEARS: In this fifth month of the year, in Parisian Phoenix’s fifth year of operation, Angel Ackerman will release her fifth novel in her Fashion and Fiends series, Absolution, on her fifty-first birthday. Sisters Basilie and Jacqueline set out to save fashion designer Étienne d’Amille from his former protégé/supermodel Adelaide Pitney who has been rather foolishly resurrected after her murder.
- In May, we have two scheduled children’s book releases. Madeline Marriott presents her watercolor-illustrated picture book, Operation Hug, in which the creatures of the forest explore how to hug their porcupine friend. And old friends Echo City Capers will officially release their “growing into” picture book-to-middle grade, The Legend of Mr. Toots: A Silent But Smelly Caper.

- May 16: Art Director Gayle Hendricks presents Graphic Design Basics for Authors to Greater Lehigh Valley Writers Group, 11 a.m. morning presentation and 1:30 to 3 p.m. workshop. This workshop is for writers who hire designers and DIYers. It centers on what makes a good cover and interior, choosing cover images, basic design and type concepts, resolution, etc. Morning lecture free, afternoon workshop free to GLVWG members, $15 for non-members. - May 27: Mark Luebbers (with Ben Goluboff “Zooming in”) as featured readers at Tidal Pool Book Shop in Worcester, Mass., 5 to 7 p.m. They will be reading from Group Portrait and some of their other books followed by a talk about their approach to speculative biography.
- May 31: Release of Stewartsville/Greenwich Township (N.J.) Historical Society’s Hometown Heroes book, transforming their military service banners into a special commemorative hardcover volume.
Late Spring
- Debut of The Curse of Our Profound Disorder by Marilyn Jaye Lewis, a rich, almost-erotic, coming-of-age novel about the illegitimate daughter of a preacher.
June
- June 13: Anticipated release date of McKenna Graf’s final Archive of Adolescence poetry series, which began with Writing Over the Word Limit her freshman year of college; continued with Parisian Phoenix with Mortals, Myths and Maybes and The Depths; and now concludes with What’s Left?
July
- July 1: Official release of Into a Wider Sky by E.H. Jacobs, a novel about mental health therapists who bend the rules. Jacobs’ first novel was Splintered River, released in September 2024.
- July 2: Another bookstore visit with E.H. Jacobs promoting his second novel, Into A Wider Sky, at Gibson’s Bookstore in Concord, N.H. Signing begins at 6:30 p.m.
- July 16: 6:30 p.m., book signing and reading for Into A Wider Sky with E.H. Jacobs at Andover Bookstore, Main Street, Andover, Mass.
