What I’ve consumed

What have I consumed recently?

  1. The latest episode of Rooster. Still loving it.
  2. Finally got to watch No Time to Die, the final Daniel Craig Bond film. As much as my protagonist Étienne d’Amille and I love the James Bond franchise, this one felt a little flat. I watch them for the cool cars and Daniel Craig without his shirt. This one did not have enough cool cars. The villain didn’t even have a car. The villain typically has the coolest car. Case in point: the green jag from Die Another Day. Now that Amazon owns the franchise, what will they do? Frankly, the idea of Bond dying as a family man is deeply unsettling. “Bond” was the last place in this modern world where emotion didn’t factor into the equation.
  3. I read The Orion Project by Peter Swirski, an alternative history novel about a female astronaut on a mission to Mars. The book comes out in September and is published by another small, independent press so I thought I’d check it out.
  4. My favorite ginseng/iced tea PowderVitamin electrolyte drink laced with mango energy drink. I only did that once because I was vibrating. Did you know Dunkin has marshmallow cold foam for their drinks? If we have marshmallow fluff, I’ll be making some marshmallow cold foam.
  5. Taco Bell. It was a moment of weakness.
