Parisian Phoenix didn’t consider poetry at first, as the whole publishing effort started to preserve some manuscripts the staff had stuffed in drawers. If you’re a writer, you know the cycle: you write, edit, shop, and either find a home for a work or forget about it.
Poetry offers more flexibility to see your work in print, at least in our humble opinion, with a variety of online and even sometimes physical sources.
But as the staff assembled, we realized we have some very talented poets among us and they have equally talented friends and peers.
So, in early 2022, Parisian Phoenix presented Darrell Parry’s poetry book, TWISTS: GATHERED EPHEMERA.
