Unexpected beauty

Published by

It’s Friday. I hear Mercury is in retrograde or was in retrograde so many communications aren’t happening clearly, or your technology is on the fritz.

In my case, my body joins the chaos but such is life with a disability.

This week had it’s high points and some lows. Coworkers are expressing interest in my novel, so that’s exciting, but my physical condition has made it difficult to dedicate as much time as I wanted to Parisian Phoenix.

In the midst of all this, I took a series of photographs yesterday, inadvertently, featuring the inside of my “low brass mom” band sweatshirt.

My phone won’t hold a charge for more than six hours and my new iPhone 13 won’t arrive until around October 15. And even in the midst of its decline, it gave me something beautiful.

If you find unexpected beauty in your life today— feel free to share with Parisian Phoenix Reflections and we may feature you in an upcoming blog.

Today’s FURR foster cat is sweet, mild-mannered tuxedo Danu and her three kittens, now almost 2.5 months old. She was dumped on a local farm with her babies and they are all loves. Danu gets along with everyone unless, of course, you happen to be a sixty pound dog getting too close to her babies. Said dog is now terrified of Danu, so here is Danu and the babies stealing the poor dog’s bed.
