Imagine a modern version of the Grinch, where Santa is just a text message away and the threat to Christmas is not a man covered in tatty green fur but the latest MegaMall.

That’s what you’ll find in the Echo City Capers Junior Christmas Special by illustrator Joseph Swarctz and writer Ralph Greco Jr. The book can be purchased online at Amazon, Barnes & Noble or Bookshop.org or if you are in the Lehigh Valley– Joe and Ralph have a few more Barnes and Noble signings (Southmont Shopping Center, Bethlehem Township, Pa.) tomorrow from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. and Friday night 4 to 7 p.m. (Promenade Shoppes at Saucon Valley).

Both of those Barnes & Noble stores have the book in stock as does The End: A Bookstore in West Allentown, Moravian Bookshop in downtown Bethlehem, and Book & Puppet Company in downtown Easton. And probably, especially if you ask nicely, also at the Lafayette College Store on College Hill in Easton.

Today our own dynamic duo was at Warren County Technical School, which is practically next door to Warren County Community College, where myself and Eva Parry went to see Let’s Play 2 curated by Maryann Riker and featuring the photography of Joan Zachary.
