You know the old saying, “March: In Like a Lion, Out Like a Lamb.”
It’s been 50 degrees, and it’s the last week of February/first week of March. Does that mean that after all this cold winter, we’re going to see snow and storms in March? The weather reports announced that March 1, will bring a beautiful spring day here in the Lehigh Valley, but that temperatures will drop by 25 degrees on March 2. And that’s what happened.
I do not like the cold. As I finished my second editorial pass of Rachel Thompson’s and Lisa Cross’s manuscript, Motorhome Gypsies, I imagine running off to warmer, dryer climates. Rachel and Lisa left their apartment more than a decade ago— they started in a small, Class C motorhome and eventually tried all the rigs, explored the country, and made a full-time home in a fifth-wheel camper. Their book, officially due out July 14, is part memoir, part travel writing, and a whole lot of how-to and practical advice about how RVs work and tricks for living in one.
