Lehigh Valley Writing Community Events

Please don’t forget, the Greater Lehigh Valley Writers Group has their annual writers conference, The Write Stuff, March 13-15. Parisian Phoenix authors Angel Ackerman, Larry Sceurman and Dianna Sinovic (all members of the group, Angel also serves as president, and Dianna serves as a board member and anthology chair) will be at the event’s book fair in the afternoon on March 15 to sign books.

Speaking of GLVWG, I recently presented my mini-talk Networking for Writers.

If you’re looking for an inexpensive and amiable, one-day event, I fully recommend The Pocono Liars Club annual Pocono Writers Conference on April 19 at the Hughes Memorial Library in Stroudsburg, Pa. For more information, click here.

And our topic at the free workshop March 13 at the Easton Area Public Library is Publishing Basics— which is a mini-version of our new workshop, How Not to Get Ripped Off as a Writer. To register, click here. (And if you are a regular, please note this one will probably start at 5:30 p.m. as listed.)

ALSO— don’t forget Noble Quills at Easton’s Book and Puppet Company. They usually host three poetry events and open mics a month. For more information about events at Easton’s downtown independent bookstore (and money museum) click here.
