The seventh annual Easton (Pa.) Book Festival (October 13-19) had delightful weather (and some crisp temperatures) and incorporated a variety of wonderful locations and interesting talks, panels and workshops. The people who organize the festival do a wonderful job of improving it every year and they have a keen sense of what makes a book festival enriching for writers, authors and readers.

I met some wonderful people and shared space with some talented individuals at the Small Press and Author Expo, including debut fantasy author Albert Lord, whose wife and adorable baby girl were there to support him for his very first book event.
