Niche historian and educator Julian Costa has produced three books with Parisian Phoenix: David’s Little Town, a posthumous memoir by David Scott Campbell about growing up in mid-century industrial Ohio; The Audio-Visual Teacher about Hamilton Lee, the story of a Chinese immigrant who became an influential communications professor in the United States; and Coach of the Building, a career history of Richard Carty and a chronicle of the construction of East Stroudsburg North High School.

On June 8, Julian will release Learning for Life, a history of the family and consumer sciences department in the East Stroudsburg school district. The book includes 36 recipes taught in the curriculum. This book preserves local history AND brings some excitement to the kitchen.
