Yuletide Beginnings

When we launched Parisian Phoenix, we didn’t do extensive research or think about branding. When we thought up our tag line– promoting unique voices and diverse perspectives– it represented what we thought the creative world needed,

But we might have been manifesting, to use a trendy term right now.

We’re coming to the close of the calendar year 2022. As we head into winter, and we creep from Christmas to New Years in a crawl that pagans call Yule, the cultural legacy that permeates this time of year reminds us that we face new beginnings.

We hope our next release might be as early as late January, a tarot journal designed by Eva Parry, part workbook, part record, a space to meditate on what the cards mean and chronicle readings.

And as nature embraces her new beginnings, we hope to release a devotional that offers a framework for how to keep yourself and your family safe in this modern world without sacrifice your spiritual values. While the author, a quasi-newcomer to the Parisian Phoenix family, is Christian and does reference the Bible, his themes cross any belief system and challenge the reader to be the good person you know the world needs without putting yourself at risk or in danger.

(As soon as we talk to this author more, we’ll post more about who he is.) And I can’t wait to tell you more about the PHULASSO DEVOTIONAL. We have a tentative release date for that one as March 17. Just in time for Easter.
