Upcoming Non-fiction Books Announced

We are just about to update our production schedule for the upcoming season. Several new authors have joined our stable, as the publishing industry says, or the birdhouse as we tend to say. And it looks like our next few titles will focus on nonfiction.

  • Our next book, once Sometimes I Get… and Coffee in the Morning come off the press, should be the as-of-yet untitled Tarot Journal by Eva Parry. Eva is interested in witchy ways and divination, but has not found the right book to offer basic insight into the cards and layouts while still offering space to record one’s readings and jot down notes on individual cards.
  • The June call for submissions to the photography book encouraging local photographers to present detail photos of famous landmarks (see our web site for more details) will be extended.
  • In mid-summer, Parisian Phoenix would like to release their first “adult” title as part of the Parisian Phoenix Kink imprint. We are honored to publish Ralph Greco Jr.’s Writing Dirty Words, where he uses his casual and humorous tone to recount his career and lessons learned as an erotic fiction author. To learn more about Ralph, we encourage you to listen to Licking Non-Vanilla, a podcast featuring Ralph and his co-host, M. Christian.
  • And last, but oh my goodness not least, we will move to Rachel C. Thompson’s memoir and guidebook on RV living. Rachel left her apartment about ten years ago before tiny homes and van life were cool. (And there are rumors that Rachel may allow us to publish her first nonfiction project on advice for homeowners that contractors don’t want you to know.) Rachel has a series of self-published novels, ranging from satire to sci-fi to fantasy, and I believe she may currently have two short story collections.
